Danny Bordelon is a lifetime resident of Alexandria, Louisiana. Danny graduated from Bolton High School.
He worked for CLECO for 27 years. Before retiring, Danny was also the founder and owner of Bordelon’s Crawfish and Seafood for 12 years.
Danny is Chairman of the Parochial Board Liaison and Municipal Liaison Committee; and is a member of the Public Works, Watershed and Agricultural Affairs Committee; the Finance Committee; the Workforce Development and Grants Committee; the Tourism and Economic Planning and Development Committee; the Courthouse, Coliseum and Legal Committee; the Personnel, Elections and Health Committee; and the Insurance, Ambulance, Fire and Homeland Security Committee of the Rapides Parish Police Jury. He is an active member of Knights of Columbus and has served as a Grand Knight. He is an active member of Son’s of Amvets of Alexandria, and St. Rita’s Church.
Danny takes pride in helping others in the community, church and wherever he is needed.
He has been married to his wife, Robin, for 43 years, living in the Gardner Community for 24 years. They have two children and five grandchildren. Danny enjoys spending time with family, hunting, and fishing.
